Through years of counseling executives, high-profile individuals, and others of significant responsibility, Laura has developed a pragmatic, humorous, collaborative, and direct approach, working to get to the root of problem-sustaining behavior and thinking in order to drive more effective methodologies in work and home life. Drawing from old fashioned wise one's of the early 20th century, various psychotherapies and her training as a mediator, she maintains a “keep it simple” and focused approach to managing complex problems.
As a business founder, owner and director, Laura understands being driven, defining a vision, implementing an idea, and culling together necessary elements, including people, to grow the entity and one's self. While drawing out one's internal dialogue, listening to one's thinking habits, and tracking one's strengths, she works with her client to bring it all out into the open and help a person gain awareness of what has held a person back and of and how might not be traditionally defined strengths which can disrupt confidence and result in anxiety. This disruption can stress relationships and lead to less than effective means of coping.
With a long background in addiction therapy, she has developed an acute and intuitive sense about people that takes into account early childhood programing and habitual thinking and dialogue to help a person uncover "the goop" that gets in the way of feeling accomplished, happy and being satisfied with one's self.
